Woo-hoo! I just finished writing a novel. WHAT??

Okay, it’s another draft of the book I’ve been working on for a while, but for the first time I feel like it’s really come together better than before. Now I’m going to set it aside for a few weeks before I decide what needs ironing out, and then get some feedback from my trusted writing peeps. Then…maybe…start querying agents and editors?

I also found out that I have been accepted into a 10-week writing workshop, Building Better Worlds, that begins next week! I’m working on a different project for that workshop, and I can’t wait to find ways to make it as widely compelling as possible. Very excited to get started!

In between, I’m playing hooky for a couple of days. Yesterday I visited NOMA, today I’m going to see a movie that nobody else in my family wants to see. What adventure will tomorrow bring? Thrift shopping? Reading the stack of books on my desk? Decadent!
